I just bought a new acer laptop for college and I know nothing about connecting it to the internet. How do I do so? All the networks need a passowrd. How can I access my home internet – Bright House Road Runner (Michigan)?. Please help! Thank you!

My laptop just broke and I noticed notebooks are a lot cheaper wanted to find out if there was a notebook capable of playing the sims games on as I know they are very big platform games and not all systems are big enough. Any help appreciated.

My cousin is a poet, musician, and a comedian and he usually carries a small notebook around with him into restaurants incase he thinks of something to write about. I see no problem with it, but other members of the family feel it’s embarrassing. My question is what is your take on it? Do you think it’s ok for him to bring a small notebook(fits in his pocket) into a res truant or diner? He usually doesn’t bring it into a fancy place unless he has a show coming up and is going over his material. Do you see a problem with it?

I am so confused to how i get internet on my Acer laptop. I want to be able to take it around with me and get wifi on it without having to search for it. I want garunteed wireless internet connection where ever i take it in my home, with out any cables plugged into a wall, if possible. What do i have to buy to do this?

I just purchased ab acer laptop and I canot get it to connect to the internet unless I have the power cord plugged into the wall. I have high speed internet and a wireless internet conection in my home. The computer connects fine when I plug the power cord in but when I try to use the battery pack the computer turns on but wont connect to the internet.
The battery is fully charged

My husband wants to do a restore on his Acer laptop, but, unlike my eMachines and HP PCs, there is no option for a recovery during start up. He doesn’t have the disc. Is there a prompt or command I can give the computer to get it to restore all factory settings?

Laptop is only 2 days old. It keeps on turning off by itself after being on the video call for 30 minutes or so. Is this normal for an Acer laptop?
The laptop is not hot or anything.
I had a Sony laptop before for 4 years and never had this problem. Can someone help?

Some general update software shows that a lot of Acer drivers/utilities on my Acer Notebook is out of date, though they do not give a download location.

So, what is the best way to keep the Acer laptop up to date with Acer-stuff?
