This piece of ****has a nice compact look; but that’s where the good stuff ends.
No, wait….it also clips on easily to my daughter’s notebook…and that’s really where the good stuff ends. The picture quality is extremely poor- which is a big disappointment to me because I always swear by C L products. I own the ‘bangingest’ sound system from C L and it never lets me down. I smile from ear to ear when I’m playing my ‘jams’ and I have the cute little egg shaped camera on my PC from C L – so, I thought this would be a great Christmas gift for my daughter’s notebook. WRONG!!! Don’t waste your money. This ‘cam’ doesn’t have any tools to increase the picture quality. The image is very grainy and dull. Save your bucks…move on.

I bought this webcam thinking it had a built in microphone so I could talk to my brother back east online. When I received the product and got it all installed on my computer, I discovered there was no microphone like the seller said in the ad.
The camera itself works well though and if it wasn’t for the missing microphone, I would’ve rated 5 stars!

once you get over the installation process everything else is pretty simple just plug and play, the picture quality is better compared to my previous webcams. so all in all it is a good product.

I bought this webcam for an HP netbook and couldn’t get it to work in Ubuntu Hardy Heron, had

everyone in the office give configuring it a try, wouldn’t work past 5 seconds. So I gave it to
my niece who has a Toshiba notebook with Vista, works great. I gave it two stars because it should
work in Ubuntu as well

Gave this to my Girlfriend to christmas so when can talk more often while she is at school. Right off the bat she had problems with it. We use Skype to talk with it and after about 50 seconds the blue light on the camera turns off and her picture freezes. She can see me but i cant see her.
The webcam when it is working has a terrible picture and terrible sound quality. I would never suggest this webcam to anyone who actually wants to be able see and hear with it.
The only good thing about it is that it clips on laptops very easily without falling off.
