Caused continuous blue screen of death error upon start up on my NC-10. Buyer beware.

two week ago I bought Asus EeePC 1005HA. Last week I ordered the 2GB 800 Mhz memory and received it. Today, I replaced the 1 GB with 2GB without any problem. It took me about 10 minutes or so.. After I installed the new 2GB, turned on the computer, it still shows “.99 GB of RAM” under My Computer in System information. I even reinstalled the memory. It still shows, “.99 GB of RAM” (I turned off and restarted the netbook, still no change. AM I SUPPOSE TO DO ANYTHING ELSE? I thought the system should detect the updated memory?? ANY SUGGESTION? THANKS.

A fine product I’m sure, but it is NOT for the Samsung N310. Just go to the Crucial website and you can easily find out which RAM is appropriate (and more importantly, guaranteed) for your computer.

Well what can I say I brought this memory for my hp mini notebook.I don’t see it being any faster the notebook shows 2gb from 1gb I wonder did I buy the right one?
