Its a simple effective keyboard. More of a business unit instead of home use. The keys are loud even when you try to be quiet. No media keys. No extras. Just a standard keyboard. It works though…

Granted, it is not your top of the line keyboard. It comes standard with all new Dell desktops! It is lightweight, however flexible. The cord is three feet long, which is perfect for my set up. It is compact design, however it is not so small that it wouldn’t do well in a lap! Now, the compactness is not a tight key space – the keys are comfortably spaced. It is just the edges of the keyboard are really snug and tight to the keys. Addtionally, I think it looks pretty good for something that cost $14. Yes, it is a little weird looking. I bought this to replace my other keyboard because I did not really like the keys. This keyboard – I really like this one a lot! I do not care if it doesn’t have any of those extra features. I never got into enough of a habit to put those extra hot keys to good use anyway! At times, simple is beautiful.

In summary:

The keyboard is a little flexible. However, the keys have a good response, the keyboard has compact design, and the cord is about three feet long. IF however the keyboard breaks, it will not break the bank!

In addition to all these great features, it has several holes on the underside in case of an unfortunate accident. If you want simple compact keyboard, a good key response, and a long thick cord, go with the Dell L100!

Amazon is selling this for near 70 dollars and the sellers are selling it for 12.99 new which is what it’s worth. Anyhow the keyboard itself is decent, I use them at work our our control system Precision 390 PC’s running XP. It’s a basic keyboard, no media keys or shortcut keys just aplain keyboard with a snazzy Dell logo. The keys are comfortable to use and are responcive, it has bright led’s to display scroll lock, number lock etc and come with most Dell PC systems I have seen.

I’m not a big fan of Dell, but I’ll have to admit Dell’s really hit a home run with this one. With its minimalist design, the Dell L100 USB Keyboard is unpretentious and exudes a trim and clean-cut aesthetic appeal – a welcome departure from what seems to the norm for most keyboards designs these days: keyboards that are oversized and crammed with superfluous functions that most people simply have little or no use for. It is ultra compact and lightweight and, more importantly, it works flawlessly. If you’re looking for a no-frills keyboard, I think you’ll be pretty happy with this one.

This keyboard is quite possibly the greatest piece of technology ever created ever. The keys give the perfect amount of resistence and feedback to the user as they type. Seriously this keyboard completes me. 5 STARS!!!
