This is a crucial piece of equipment for any professional who uses a laptop – for cooling and cleaning up the desk.

When I started using my Macbook Pro for work I noticed a significant jump in temperatures since I used it so much more. After getting the stand I noticed a drop of about 10 degrees (using iStat nano to gauge temps).

I would like the cable management holes in the back to be bigger to allow the monitor cable and through however I just run it thru the 1 side.

I’m a huge fan and highly recommend this.

This tray is useful on which to place a netbook if one is using separate peripherals such as keyboard, video, and mouse because it gives you a place to stash the keyboard.

If you don’t use separate peripherals something like this is essential to get the screen to a reasonable viewing height while seated at a desk.

This particular tray is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s a very elegant looking accessory for the desk. It’s solid, simple, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I just hope it doesn’t turn into a thief magnet at the office.

The “wire management” is just two holes in the back. It’s not much use when the connectors on the netbook or laptop are on the side. These days I use wireless mouse and keyboard anyway, so it’s not really a flaw.

Overall, it’s a near-perfect tray for my use, and only the high price keeps it from being 5 stars.

Did a fair bit of searching to buy what I felt would be the best for my new Mac Air. This product is very well made, fits very snugly (but still easy to get on and off) and has the luxurious feel and look of real leather (which it is, of course). Protects the computer very well and I would recommend it.
