I bought this thinking it would be thinner, lighter and better than the one I bought previously. Needless to say it was very disappointing. The laptop kept sliding off, I could not tell that it was working and the cord was long and cumbersome. I’m going back to the one I bought previous to this one, it was the Antech USB powered notebook cooler. Antec USB-Powered Notebook Cooler.

Got this in time, started using this as it has 3 fans and my prev one had 2. It is louder than normal coolers. Then it started making more noise after few days use. If I move it one of the fans starts making noise louder than my table fan. Then one day it wont work, I pulled of the usb from laptop to see if my Laptop usb died, no its the cooler. Plugged in again, It worked for 2 mins and again stopped. Now this goes on for 1 month until it wont work any more. I finally bought a $ #% one from Amazon only. Its a little bigger version, but cools like a real cooler. I dont mind a bigger coller if it does the work. Sorry to say this product wold have been nicer if the quality was little better. The noise, and durability.

This cool pad is way to small even for a 15″ laptop which is NOT a widescreen and does not have the number keys on the right side. My laptop hangs over all 4 sides of this cool pad and only two of my laptop legs touch the cool pad. The only way anyone should buy this, is if they want to use it with a 10″ netbook. I should have read the reviews for this before wasting my money.
