How can I clean up a desktop PC from spyware using remote connection?

I plan to connect the PC to my router and using the router as a way to remotely access the PC using a laptop. I was wondering if I could launch a anti-spyware program to clean its hard drive using remote desktop connection because the PC is extremely slow

yes it can be done I do it all the time there are a few wasy to do it since both pcs are on the same network you can use netmeeting on both pcs and run it remotely i perfer to use an online viruse scan cause its free and their definations are upto date
start >> run>>type conf in the run box and net meeting will pop up fill in your name, location and email address then keep hitting next until it finishes the wizard
do that on both computers and 1 pc must call the other pc just put the ip address of the othercomputer in the box with the drop down and you should see it pop up on that pcs screen
then just share the desktop and give the other pc control and run your programs
