How do i connect a desktop pc to my modem wirelessly?

I need to connect my xbox, my desktop pc, and my notebook to my modem but they are all in different places how do i do this?,

You need a router to network those devices together. I would recomend getting a wireless router for your application.

A wireless router should do the trick. You can connect the desktop through an ethernet wire [included with the router].The notebook will connect wirelessly. The xbox can cannot either way. You may have to buy additional hardware to connect the xbox wirelessly. Be sure you take a router that is compatible with the notebook and xbox. There is a, b, g, and n [getting faster as we go forward, b is faster than a, g is faster than b, etc.] I am sure that g will probably be the best choice, it is the most supported and not on the expensive end, and the speed is good.
