How do i get internet on my Acer laptop?

I am so confused to how i get internet on my Acer laptop. I want to be able to take it around with me and get wifi on it without having to search for it. I want garunteed wireless internet connection where ever i take it in my home, with out any cables plugged into a wall, if possible. What do i have to buy to do this?

in your house you would need a wireless router plugged into a dsl modem or whatever. BUT there is no garentee way to get wireless access everywhere you go. what you can do is buy a usb card from your phone company and then you get service like your cellphone.
you can buy the wireless router for like 30-40 bucks (usd) from anywhere like wal-mart or office max. the wireless card (if your laptop dont have it already) that is about 40 bucks (usd) so ya its kinda spendy but its worth it (actually im stealing my nabors internet(its legal but if there is a password then its not))
