After someone ripped our old power adapter out of the laptop, there were pieces left in the laptop and a stub on the power adapter. I thought we were going to have to replace everything. After removing the pieces from the socket in the laptop I tried someone else’s adapter and it didn’t make consistent contact. I took a chance and ordered this new OEM adapter and it works perfectly. The connection is always good and we’re now charged all the time.
