just fabulus it has a led to show that it’s working and it makes a better connection than the plug that come with my computer

I bought this for my son (a college student) when the original charger quit working after just a year & a half. It charges quicker & also has a longer cord. He’s only had it one day, but so far, so good.

For the price, you absolutely can’t beat this product if you need a replacement charger for your M-Series Gateway laptop.

I bought this power cord for my Gateway M-Series laptop. It’s the second replacement charger/cord I’ve purchased for this computer (in addition to the factory charger/cord), but the first I have purchased from this seller. To be honest, this Gateway clearly wasn’t built for regular transportation as the computer and its charger have taken quite a beating in the last year since I started graduate school, but the original charger stopped working within 6 months of regular mobile use (the wires must have broken down near the power adapter from being wrapped up too tight/too frequently), so I bought a replacement. The first replacement I bought (not from this seller) seemed alright, as it did its job, but I wasn’t thrilled that it was a 2-pronged plug rather than a grounded 3-prong like the original. It also cost around $60 + shipping. Even though I was especially careful to not break down the wires on the replacement, it stopped fully functioning within 6 months from purchase.

This replacement I have just received is much more like the original and it only cost about $20! The cord doesn’t seem as flimsy as my first replacement and it’s a 3-prong plug, and at a third of the price, it’s far better. It even has a velco cord wrap to help keep the cords all together without having to wrap everything up “tight”. I haven’t had it as long as the others before they broke down, but I have high hopes.
