This black logitech set of computer speakers looks substantial and somewhat stylish.It is easy to install to your computer.
The dimensional range of the music out-put is limited.
The classical music I play sounds boisterous but lacks depth and fullness.
I think that the price is good,however if it’s purpose is for music,and your budget a bit higher I’d invest in a better set.Generally it delivers adequate sound,but I’m a sensitive demanding listener with an ear for quality.I believe your average college student or general computer user will find them acceptable. I am not changing my wireless stereo connected to my computer for this system. However logitech makes my wireless device(music anywhere).Even though it is a space saver- the sub-woofer may have made the difference( does not have one).

I use these speakers on my desk at work. They replaced an old pair of Harmon Kardons I had been using for quite some time. With my old HK speakers, my iPhone (when on the Edge network) would frequently cause the speakers to buzz and hiss. These Logitech speakers are shielded and I no longer experience this issue. The sound is great- the low bass tones definitely exceeded my expectations. With many other speakers, quality goes down when listening at very low volumes; with these Logitech speakers the sound is just as amazing at low volumes as it when it’s cranked up all the way! These speakers use a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, so they’ll work just as easily with an iPod, iPhone or other MP3 device as they with laptops and desktops. I highly recommend!

My son uses these speakers primarily with his laptop. He likes playing games and the lousy internal speakers just weren’t cutting it for him. I chose them mostly because he not only can connect them to the computer, but also his little mp3 player. They sound like much bigger speakers, but don’t take up a ton of room on his desk. I am sure a more sophisticated audiophile might find fault with no subwoofer, but for an average user (or for a second set) they are just fine. He likes them not only for the sound, but because they look super cool! Not sure why you would need a headphone jack, since most things that you would plug into them, also have a headphone jack…but maybe we will use that feature in the future(possibly just for the easier access to the jack on them.) They aren’t like those cheesy lightweight ones that you can easily knock over if you bump them, but are nice and substantial. I almost wished I would have kept them for myself for an ipod in the kitchen…or the bathroom…or the laundry room…maybe I need another set!

These are by far the best, blasted speakers I’ve ever owned !!!!! I had an older pair of speakers which did the trick but they didn’t do so good with transcending music from YouTube…..At the moment, I’m listening to Paul Kelly on YouTube and I just can’t stop….the music is clear and defined and perfectly balanced for my audio needs. I just love them !!
They are quite sturdy and easy to set up. I’ve only got them set at mid range now, but I’m rocking out and being transformed. I love the tall triangle look and the design fulfills my aesthetic senses. If this is the newer technology in the past year or so, they are really doing a great job !! My compliments to the techies !!

Gotta say these speakers rock. Maybe a tad bit pricey, but the sound and looks from these babies are top notch. The 360 sound is a nice touch that seems to work. The quality and construction from logitech are also top notch. I would say the only negative is that its missing a low punch.
