This adapter fits my old Thinkpad r51 and appears to work normally. After two months the DC wires’ outer casing was beginning to rip away from the adapter housing right outside the joint reinforcement, though the wires’ insulation was still intact.
This might work for a short-term replacement, but I’d recommend using the official replacement to be on the safe side. (My very old computer broke shortly after purchasing this item, but the repairman thinks this is a coincidence.)

So my battery charger died on my Thinkpad T43. Went to Amazon and found just what i needed at the price i wanted to spend. MLC Distribution was awesome, i sent them a letter right after purchasing the product(Shipping was suppose to be delivered on 16th) i said that didnt seem right. Customer Service was kind, courteous and professional. 2 Days later my package arrives! Awesome!!! (side note: i am only about 60 miles away from their distribution center, so that might have something to do with it)
Overall, i would definitely recommend doing business with them again! MLC Distribution.

this is a great AC Adapter for the Thinkpad T-22. I lost my OEM one and needed a replacement for it. I already have a newer Laptop but wanted to reassign the T-22 to be a Ubuntu Machine. This Adapter was a perfect fit, of course its aftermarket but it resembles the OEM and for the cost is of pretty good quality. Cant beat it for under $10!
