I own an Acer Aspire 7720, which I’ve had no problems with until now. The laptop will be on for a few hours and then it’ll turn off and I won’t be able to turn it back on for at least an hour or two after. If this is due to overheating, how can I prevent this from happening?

I have an Acer Aspire one and an Ipod shuffle (good for running) and i was wondering is it possible to upload music from my laptop onto my ipod?
i can play my ipod music through the laptop but i cant transfer any music saved onto the laptop onto my ipod.
is there anything i can do? or does it just not work?
My laptop runs on linux by the way.

I have an acer laptop. When I want to connect to the internet it says to turn on wireless capability using the wireless switch.
When I hit it, it kept sayong wireless unenabled or something.

I want to return my Acer laptop, but I first need to reset it so that it was like it has never been used before.

I do not have any disks and I cannot format the hard drive.

Does anyone know how?

I have a stupid Acer laptop,
and it’s been running very slow latley.
I removed almost all of the programs that I had downloaded,
and it’s still being slow.

I want to reboot the entire thing and start off brand new.
I tried reading the manuel and I don’t see anything in it about rebooting the system.

How do I do this?

I have an Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop. I just recently deleted all partitions and installed windows XP. The device manager is showing the driver for “Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus” and “Network Connector” is not installed properly. I downloaded every driver that Acer has to offer, and neither one of them seems to fix this device. Any suggestions? Thanks
I must use windows XP, since just starting up vista takes awhile. If I request a restor CD from Acer, I will have Vista again, since that is the original OS.

I am so confused to how i get internet on my Acer laptop. I want to be able to take it around with me and get wifi on it without having to search for it. I just purchased ab acer laptop and I canot get it to connect to the internet unless I have the power cord plugged into the wall. I have high speed internet and a wireless internet conection in my home. The computer connects fine when I plug the power cord in but when I try to use the battery pack the computer turns on but wont connect to the internet.
The battery is fully charged
