I bought this cover to put my new 17.3″ screen laptop into and it fits like a glove. Nice material and looks like it will hold up over time. Works great.

- Made with sponge soft lining materials which effectively keep dust off of and prevent scratches to your laptop.
- Feels durable but not very effective at preventing dents resulting from bumping/dropping due to its small amount of padding and slim profile.
- Has padding in the interior around the zipper area to prevent scratches while opening/closing the case. You still have to be careful around the corners while closing the sleeve though.
- It does not have handles so it is best carried inside other bags, where it adds a much-appreciatted additional padding.
- No outside pockets for accessories (mouse, A/C adapter, memory cards, etc) so those will have to be carried elsewhere. If you are looking for a neoprene sleeve for a 17.3-inch laptop with a pocket for accessories perhaps the 17.3-Inch Laptop Sleeve Slipcase – Dual-Pocket – Black will fit the bill.

- Fits the HP Pavilion DV7-2180US 17.3-Inch Entertainment Laptop, aka smudge magnet, like a glove.
- Occupies entire laptop compartment of Case Logic VNC-17 17-inch Value Slimline Laptop Case (Black), so the power block and cord have to be kept on other compartments. Note that the case is intended for 17-inch laptops while this sleeve holds 17.3-inch laptops, thus the loss of 0.5-inch space for the power accessories.
