that was cool. i remember my first phone. it was a Nokia back in 1999. it cost me 200. free nationwide calling was just becoming a competitive feature. plans were out, but extra minutes cost me 35 cents each. that was before text messaging was popular or affordable, back when 10 year olds didn’t have phones.

You didn’t! Usually you left in the car hooked up. Battery recharger was huge! Talk time was very short. It’s too funny I owned one of those and thought I was pretty cool!
