Here is a product that is outstanding! I did many searches and read reviews on many laptop cooling devices, I did not want anything that would drain the power of my laptop battery, however I knew the importance of having a cooling device to increase my computer speed and also extend the life of the computer. Thus I ordered The ThermaPak, as soon as I put my laptop (Toshiba NB305) on it the speed of the computer was noticeably faster, the pad is approximately 1/2 inch thick and it is made out of a durable material that I can tell will last for years. What I liked about this product is that it fits nicely in my nylon carrying case whereever I go and also I can sit in my recliner with my laptop on my lap and I do not feel any heat coming through the ThermaPAK. I strongly recoomend this product to anyone with a laptop!

My laptop has been running a little too hot lately in my opinion — and the temperature shoots up even more when I’m watching a video. I travel a lot so I started to look into portable fans when I ran into this product and decided to try it out since it’s much easier to travel with. I just got it in the mail today and already my laptop, while watching a video, is running about 10*C cooler….thank goodness!

Works as advertised, lowers temps by 5-10 degrees F without any power. Great for my small laptop that is docked to external monitor, keyboard, and mouse and basically used like a desktop for many hours on end. Noticeably less fan noise from my laptop because it doesn’t run so hot anymore. Also works as an insulating pad so you can actually put your laptop on your lap again. I have done a lot of researches about getting a cooling pad, and I thought this new technology stuff would be fine to use.
But I now highly not recommend this cooling pad, it does work for the first 30mins-60mins. After that, my laptop is still as hot as how it is without the cooling pad.

ThermaPak is a great cooling product, fits easily in a laptop bag and works just as it says. No noisy fans, usb cords, etc. Love it.
