TrackIR/freetrack already does a very similar thing. This is just the obvious advancement of that same existing technology. What’s not so obvious will be figuring out a way to do this same thing without having some stupid massive black box on your head.
That looks really unconvertible to play with. Like playing with a TV on your head. Also it be very bad on your eyes being that close to the screen.
It's an o.k brand, but some better brands are Sony, Samsung or Sharp.
Same thing happened to me. I have a toshiba and this is my 3rd charger. Just buy a universal charger costs 70$. Dont bother calling toshiba.

To access the Toshiba recovery partition, power off the laptop. Hold down the 0 (zero) key and turn the laptop on. Keep holding down the zero key until the TOSHIBA logo appears, where you should start tapping the zero key repeatedly. Stop if the unit beeps or when the TOSHIBA logo disappears. The screen should flash ** HDD RECOVERY MODE ** for a split second, then load the Toshiba recovery program right from the hard drive.
Note that this erases all data, and reloads all factory default software. Be sure to back up all your important personal data beforehand!

Assuming you master drive is c, and d is the backup drive with files you saved, then you can restore the c drive and copy the files from c after the restore. Make sure d is a separate drive and not a partition
good luck. i've had too many problems w/ every iteration of linux i've tried from 3.4 to current. and the 'tons of open source support' is of little to no help at all and if the manufacaturer of the hardware doens't support it, you're gonna be writing your own driver.

get him the new denon 3800bd blu- ray player and a denon amp that decodes the new high def sound and a decent hdmi cable he will marry u the day after as for speakers kef are fantastic and look good as do tannoy im in the uk and the cost of that lot here will be around £4,500 gbp but normally u americans dont get ripped of as much as us so its probobly much cheaper

if it doesn't charge its very simple i have a Satellite but no led on the power cord anyways i left the part of the cord where it comes apart you know plugged up and in the wall but it fits both ways even though it is polarized and it overheated and stopped working so you need to get a new charger from toshiba most likely as that's what i did and it works great now just always check it after 30 minutes and make sure its not to hot if it is unplug it till it cools down and plug it back in the other way and you can leave it plugged in as long as you like it will not matter…
they showed demos of similar technologies for the wii and ps3 system called “desktop vr” but this looks like it works a lot better.
this is going to be the future of digital vision for things like computers and gaming, not so much for television and movies, but its definitively technology we are going to see within the house hold in the next 20 years. maybe even longer.
