I bought this because my old keypad quit after years of use. My old IBM keypad did had compatability problems with my Sony laptop. When I used the external keypad, it would turn on the num-lock on the laptop, turning the letters on the keyboard into numbers. Why would I want that when I have an external keypad? So I had to manually turn the Num Lock on and off every time I wanted to switch from keypad back to the keyboard (very annoying). This one is Sony compatible and doesn’t do that. That alone earns it a five star rating for me.

Like many laptop keyboards, our Dell Latitude does not include a numeric keypad which is an irritant when entering data into spreadsheets, etc. This product is a good cost effective solution, and works as expected.

This product works fine and the price is right. It is a big help doing bookkeeping on a laptop. I wish it had an equals button for entering formulas in excel.

I purchased this for my laptop so that I could do my math and Statistics coursework. This worked right out of the box and has the same tactile feel as my laptop keys. It’s large enough to be comfortable to use, yet still small enough to fit in the my laptop case.
Having the spacebar on the keypad is also a great feature when typing in formulas and calculations and the 00 key came in handy when doing my taxes.
Shipping was fast through eforce, it arrived 5 days earlier than the estimate.
